Results:
This outpatient surgery may take anywhere from 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours. It involves making one incision around the nipple's areola, a second incision from the areola to the fold below the breast, and a third incision horizontally along the curve underneath the breast. Next the excess, flaccid breast skin is removed and the areola is shifted to a higher position on the breast so that the outward-facing nipple line is restored. And voila! You've got gorgeous breasts.

Recovery After a Breast Lift Surgery:
After surgery, patients are required to wear a surgical bra to hold the lifted breasts in their proper position. There will be swelling and bruising, as well as enough discomfort to call for pain medication, which the doctor will prescribe. After a few days, the surgical bra will be replaced by a support bra, and within two weeks the stitches will be removed. Nevertheless, there will be some scars, which will become all but unnoticeable with the passage of time. And remember, no strenuous exercise for at least 4 weeks. P.S. Good news! Your nipples will NOT lose any of their sensitivity.
