After the surgery, expect swelling that will subside with each passing day. The stitches will usually be removed within 5 days and bruising will be apparent for 10 days or so. That bruising can easily be camouflaged by sunglasses in the first several days, after which you can apply foundation as a cover-up. And then before you know it, voila! In approximately two weeks, you'll be ready to show off the rejuvenated new windows into your soul.
